About Phia *
Phia Moore is a singer-songwriter from Southern California. She began singing when she was 11, inspired by the storytelling of artists like Taylor Swift and The Chicks. She began songwriting in 2020 when her mom signed her up for an online class at The Songwriting School of Los Angeles. The isolation of lockdown led songwriting to be Phia's solace and passion through the pandemic to today.
Before songwriting, Phia had a deep love for singing. Introduced to Americana and Folk music at a young age, she was influenced by the heartbreaking stories and moving details in music. Phia now creates music, calling them her “worlds”, inviting in fellow people who wear their hearts on their sleeve.
Her cover, Over the Rainbow, inspired by the iconic IZ is featured in Apple TV+ Amber Brown, Season 1 Episode 3. She is also heard in Episode 10 of CTV's Sullivan's Crossing singing a cover of A Great Big World's and Christina Aguilera's, Say Something.
With her sophomore EP “what color is your monster?” out now, Phia continues writing everyday and looks forward to the next world she gets to share.
